Exclusive: Our bathroom break with Atlanta author Emily Giffin as “Something Borrowed” bows in theaters today

In order to reach our interview destination Thursday afternoon inside a gorgeous home on Habersham Road in Buckhead, we had to make our way past a team of gardeners edging the lush lawn, Atlanta caterer Dennis Dean and staff in the kitchen preparing for a movie premiere party, over a pair of zebra skin rugs, up a spiral staircase and through a stately master bedroom filled with beautiful women in white robes.

Two years ago, Atlanta filmmakers Tyson, Byron and Ryon Horne approached Atlanta's True Colors Theatre founder and Broadway director Kenny Leon with a humble request: "Can we follow you around?" Tonight at 7:30 at the Landmark Theatre in Midtown as part of the Atlanta Film Festival, The Horne Brothers will premiere "The Start of Dreams," the riveting result of that request.

TCM sets April 10 for day-long tribute to two-time Oscar winner Elizabeth Taylor

Within hours of veteran actress Elizabeth Taylor's death at age 79 Wednesday, Atlanta-based Turner Classic Movies had finalized plans for a on-air tribute. On Sunday, April 10, TCM has rearranged its schedule to air 24 hours of Taylor's finest films, beginning at 6 a.m. with her first film, the 1943 family flick "Lassie Come Home." The tribute will end with an April 11 4 a.m. airing of "Ivanhoe" from 1952.
