GPC has several campuses, and once enrolled, you can attend one or two just to experience the different atmospheres. GPC also has events going on each week for the students, so there is always something to do.
Where’s the best place to hang out?
The Student Center here [Decatur campus] is where the fun is. It is a large room with a huge television and a campus cafe known for fries and subs. Everyone is just in there hanging out and enjoying college. The Student Center is also where most events are held.
What’s the best class?
For me it would have to be English 1101. The professor was very passionate about teaching and made my first semester here one of my favorites. There wasn’t a day that I didn’t walk out in tears from laughter and also with English a notch higher as one of my favorite subjects.
How would you rate interaction with professors?
Eight out of ten because they all have office hours and are always available for personal time if needed.
What advice do you have for applicants?
Get involved. Also, get to know your adviser so you can take the right classes for your major. Visit the Student Life office for news about the school, and leave your worries at home, because GPC will take care of you.
