Robert Brown transitioned to interior design after more than 20 years in the fashion industry. Named Southeastern Designer of the Year by “Veranda” in 2006, he has won more than 20 American Society of Interior Designers awards, including the President’s award. Brown has also designed two furniture lines and last year opened his first retail store, Townhouse, at the Galleries of Peachtree Hills.
“I often find inspiration in Paris. The French are experts at integrating disparate elements of fashion and interior design to create cohesive looks. I’ve embraced French Moderne eclecticism here, mixing textures and colors, bold geometry and organic lines. The contrasts of gold on black, natural linen against a silk Hermès scarf, and sharp angles against faux animal fur intrigue the eye and invigorate the senses.”
