Fans of Hi-Five Diner, you’ll have your chance for a final brunch on Sunday. Alex Brounstein‘s Midtown restaurant, which replaced Villains Wicked Heroes last year, announced on Facebook today that it will close at the end of the week. The post said that the current location’s small kitchen couldn’t keep up with busy brunch crowds and that the team hopes to relocate the restaurant.

While there isn’t an official confirmation of what will replace Hi-Five, What Now Atlanta is reporting that Benzino’s Crab Trap will take the space. Hip-Hop Weekly posted several photos on Friday of a “grand opening” event for Benzino’s that appear to have been taken in Hi-Five’s space, and a photo of the exterior shows a Benzino’s sign placed next to Hi-Five’s. (A photo of this also surfaced on Reddit last week, causing confusion. As of 4 p.m. today, there is not a Benzino’s sign next to Hi-Five’s signage.) We have reached out to Benzino’s Crab Trap for comment and will update this story when we have more information.
