Last-minute ideas for Father’s Day in Atlanta

T-minus two days.

In the event you have no idea what special day is coming this Sunday, we are prepared to help minimize the likelihood of your being disowned, divorced, and despised. Father’s Day, ladies and gentlemen, is this weekend, and for those who are currently hyperventilating, we present a few solutions.

Braves v. Orioles
Turner Field
1:35 pm

Celebrate Father’s Day with a pre-game parade for all fathers and their children, and afterwards watch the Braves take on the Orioles. In between innings, grab a steak sandwich from Kevin Rathbun’s food stand behind Section 203.

Fleming’s Steakhouse

Atlanta, GA 30346

In addition to the restaurant’s regular menu, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is treating dads to a special three-course Father’s Day brunch menu available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch price is $34.95 for adults and $16.95 for children ages 12 and under (plus tax and gratuity). Dad’s will receive a $25 gift card at the meal’s conclusion.

Free breakfast at IKEA
Offer valid until 11:00 am on June 17, 2012.

Will there be meatballs? Here’s your chance to grab that recliner dad has always been wanting. Dads who shop at IKEA before 11 a.m. will be treated to a free breakfast (with coffee). A perfect idea for the dad who likes building stuff with allen wrenches. What do you say? Good IDEA?
