Celebrations begin with a German style block party consisting of live music, beer, and food. The festivities will conclude in early October with “Oktoberfest Olympics,” incorporating a beer belly contest and a mustache contest.

Wear your German best to avoid a cover charge. A brat eating contest and a beer chugging contest are among the many activities planned throughout the day. Live music includes Astral Freaks and Desire.

Join Executive Chef Jordan Wakefield of Meehan’s Public House at Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen. Wakefield will be dishing up four seasonal courses, paired with Oktoberfest beer.
