Krog Street Market announced today that a new food stall serving steamed buns will open later this fall. Michael Lo and George Yu, the owners of Decatur’s trendy Asian restaurant Makan, are giving their popular pork belly bun its own concept with Betty Hsu’s Baos. “For Betty Hsu’s, we intend to continue sourcing locally from great producers like Grassroots Farms, Global Growers, and Finch Creek Farm as we do at Makan today,” said Yu in a press release.

In addition to steamed buns filled with pork belly and roasted duck, the stall will offer “a number of new seafood and vegetarian steamed bun options.” The 420-square feet stall will open next to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.
