BATON Supper Series hosts a final dinner at Gato Bizco on Sept. 17-18
The popular local supper series at Gato Bizco hosts their last dinner, “A Celebration of What May Be,” featuring local chefs who have helped host the previous events. 

Scotch Tasting at Tower Tasting Room on Sept. 18, 6:30 p.m.
Join Jim Mason of William Grant & Sons in Doraville for a guided scotch tasting with light bites and a reception.
Creative Loafing’s 40th Birthday at the Goat Farm on Sept. 19, 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Free food from Pure Vida, Sweet Auburn BBQ Food Truck, Stir it Up, NaanStop, Morelli’s Ice Cream, and Yum Yum Cupcakes. In addition, there will be live music throughout the evening and  Sweetwater Brewing Company will provide a special brew.

Munich on Marietta Street at Der Biergarten on Sept. 22, 12:00 p.m.
Kick off Oktoberfest with the ceremonial tapping of the Warsteiner Oktoberfest Keg and enjoy live music from Jacob Herzog and the Bavarian Express, Die Kurtzbaum, and DJ Johnny.

Rose wine class at The Shed at Glenwood on Sept. 22, 3 p.m.

Attendees of the class, “Hell Yes I Drink Rose & I’m Proud Of It,” will taste and discuss eight different Rose wines, both still and sparkling. Each wine will be accompanied with food pairings.
