Michelin may visit Atlanta
Eater Atlanta reports that the international director of the Michelin Guide may visit Atlanta. Michelin’s also looking to expand into DC and Miami, as well as Houston, Dallas, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

Richard Blais joins Life After Top Chef
Perpetual television personality and Atlanta chef Richard Blais returns to the small screen for the latest variation on the Top Chef franchise: Life After Top Chef.

Modern to open in October
Chef Mark Alba, hailing experience from Eno, Parish, Canoe, and Spice, will serve “fresh seafood and regional, seasonal produce” at Modern Restaurant + Bar when they open their Buckhead doors in late October. 

Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano to open in November
What Now Atlanta reports Antico owner Giovanni Di Palma plans to have, “a block-long Little Italy of sorts.” Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano, an Italian chicken takeout spot, will open in November and join Antico and soon to be Bar Antico on the Westside.
