To celebrate its gold anniversary, Atlanta Magazine, in partnership with the Atlanta History Center, presents a new exhibition that explores how the magazine’s history parallels that of the city. Utilizing magazine covers, artifacts, and interviews with individuals who were featured on the covers, including former Mayors Sam Massell and Andrew Young, longtime restaurant critic Christiane Lauterbach, and baseball legend Hank Aaron, visitors explore stories surrounding Atlanta’s transformation over the fifty years.
