On December 6, Der Biergarten will celebrate the classic German holiday Nikolaustag, or St. Nicholas Day, when the famous white-bearded saint brings gifts to children who leave their shoes outside the front door. Santa Claus will make a special appearance at Der Biergarten from 6 to 9 p.m., joining in fun and festive reindeer games like beer pong on the patio, pretzel making, and hide the pickle— a festive German tradition where a pickle ornament is hidden on the tree for prizes. Guests can enjoy half-price Warsteiner for the evening. Also starting December 6, guests can purchase and decorate their own ornaments for $1 each, all proceeds of which will benefit the Salvation Army. Event Website
