Join our very own horticulturist and Executive Director, Stephanie Van Parys, and sow out a complete summer garden that includes tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, basil and more! Students will learn the basics of what each vegetable needs to be successful in the garden, how to start seeds at home successfully, and how to handle seedlings once they have sprouted including hands on thinning and transplant activities. In this hands-on class, students will leave with the basics of a tasty summer garden and great varieties will be on-hand to choose from. Each student needs to bring two opaque gallon size milk jugs.
