Atlanta magazine’s 3rd Annual Best Burger Battle

On Saturday, October 20, Atlanta magazine and Lenox Square presented the third annual Best Burger Battle, benefiting The Giving Kitchen. As Atlanta’s premier burger cook-off, the Best Burger Battle offered attendees an enjoyable afternoon full of unlimited burger tastings, Bulleit bourbon cocktails, refreshing craft brews, and live blues music. As nearly two dozen restaurants duked it out in hopes of winning the coveted grand prize, attendees cast their votes to crown Butcher & Brew as first place, but in second place, there was a three-way tie between crowd favorites: American Cut Steakhouse, Williamson Bros. BBQ, and Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar. Butcher & Brew took home the grand prize golden ticket, qualifying the restaurant for the 2019 World Burger Championship—where 40 of the world’s best hamburgers and their cooks will compete to see whose cuisine reigns supreme. Sponsors included: Lenox Square, Big Green Egg, Bulleit Bourbon, Macy’s, World Food Championship, Emerald Hare, and Georgia Tourism.
