Promotion: Gallery 874 Grand Opening

    Gallery 874, West Midtown’s newest luxury art gallery and event space, debuted with a party to celebrate its reveal and the opening of Dreams, the gallery’s first art exhibit. On May 21, guests sipped cocktails by Deep Eddy Vodka, sampled spring fare by Talk of the Town Catering and perused Dreams, the gallery’s premier exhibition, which explores the four stages of sleep as experienced by the brain. Curated by Salamatina 874 Project, Dreams features works by emerging and midcareer artists: Graham Dean, Gasper Jemec, Yana Lande, Alessia Colacicco, Mark Andre Robinson, Nina Levy, Andrei Sharov, Marina Chernikova and Mousa.

    Caroline C. Kilgore is a native Atlantan, who grew up playing in Orme Park and eating at George’s in Virginia Highlands and remembers waving to bicycle shorts man every week from the back of her mom’s mini van en route to soccer practice (while her carpool friends giggled). An accomplished photographer, Kilgore studied photojournalism at the University of Georgia. She joined the magazine in 2008 and spends her days working with freelance photographers and shooting for the magazine. She enjoys bodysuits, Robyn, and all things cat-related.
