Historic Fourth Ward Park

This BeltLine-adjacent park is more than a greenspace with pathways and an outdoor theater; it’s a linchpin in the Old Fourth Ward’s revitalization. Its scenic pond and waterfalls are a stormwater-runoff solution. Its modern, funky playground and splash pad (closed for the winter; reopens in May) enthrall kids. And its nearby public skate park (the city’s first) gives boarders an alternative to the concrete slabs across from the Masquerade. As the Ponce City Market develops close by, the park will only get busier.
