Andisheh Nouraee on Twitter

Nouraee doesn’t get too personal on his Twitter. There are no check-ins, barely any self-promotion (he recently cowrote a book, Americapedia), and no “I’m eating a sandwich” updates. What’s left are 140-character bursts of pith, from the serious (he’s never met a political topic he couldn’t barb) to the absurd (“Summer ’11: when ‘hair thieves’ supplanted ‘blue jean bandits’ as my new favorite signifier of nation’s moral decay”). He’s the city’s premier microculture critic, with his tongue firmly planted in cheek. We like him so much, we asked him to blog about Herman Cain for us.
