Cafe Alsace

In this tiny, charming bistro, few dishes pass the test of authenticity, but you won’t regret the money spent on homemade chicken liver pate; tarte a l’oignon, rabbit in blueberry and red wine sauce, and a quirky choucroute de poisson cooked in Alsatian white wine. Mousse au chocolat is the best choice in the dessert course. Quiche lorraine (a lunch specialty) is worth getting reacquainted with. The restaurant is inexpensive and date-worthy.
