Dancing Goats Coffee Bar

The original sleek, welcoming spot in Decatur is an outreach of the much smaller Batdorf & Bronson, a Washington State high-quality roaster whose nearly twenty-year presence in Atlanta helped spur our healthy espresso culture. Coffee drinks, including a fine cappuccino, are made with fresh, locally roasted beans by well-trained baristas. The charmingly countercultural Duck’s Kitchen in Decatur provides the quirky selection of doughnuts, thumbprint cookies, and muffins. Abundant parking, a clique-free customer base, and recycling practices are other big pluses. A second location opened in 2012 as the first (satellite) tenant of Ponce City Market, the massive rehabilitation of City Hall East.
