The latest star of the Decatur dining scene, housed in a former train depot, has so much going for it: the nostalgic glamour of the dining room and the handsome bar fashioned from the building’s original floorboards; a spectacular bar crew led by Miles Macquarrie; and the city’s finest oyster service, with an ever-changing array of twenty or so pristine beauties. Chefs Jeffrey Wall and Philip Meeker helm the kitchen, creating menus of intense, artful dishes that change nightly.

Before slurping through a platter of oysters on ice, order a cocktail from an ace team of bartenders led by Mils MacQuarrie, who most recently helmed the beverage program at nearby Leon’s.
