Perched on the edge of downtown Woodstock, FoxTale is the quintessential community bookstore. The small selection is heavy on local and regional authors, and crowds pack the store nearly every week for a new signing, release party, or luncheon. Overstuffed chairs invite you to browse before you buy, while a long wooden table beckons to book clubs. (The store hosts three, including one for kids, and members get discounts on club picks.)
