Marietta Square

Downtown Marietta has long had its draws—verdant Glover Park, quirky museums and antique stores, Eddie’s Trick Shop, Johnnie MacCracken’s Celtic Public House, Marietta Pizza Company. But a few new businesses have turned the square into an even livelier destination. Additions such as Taqueria Tsunami, the Butcher the Baker (farm-to-table restaurant), DK Gallery (contemporary art), L. Michelle (women’s boutique), UpDog Smoothies & Juices (in a yoga studio . . . get it?), and Marietta Wine Market have added fresh energy. Plus there’s easy, free parking in city lots. Check out rooftop Brew with a View nights at the Strand Theatre or First Friday Art Walk for the liveliest evenings.
