Operating in Atlanta since 1976, Georgia Nephrology is recognized to be one of the finest nephrology practices in the United States and the largest nephrology practice in Georgia, with eight office locations in metro Atlanta and growing. We have partnered with Fresenius and DaVita to serve patients at over 20 dialysis centers and provide care at Gwinnett, Eastside, Emory Johns Creek, DeKalb, Northside Forsyth, North Fulton, Piedmont Clearview, Piedmont Rockdale, and Piedmont Newton hospitals.
The practice is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and chronic care of patients with kidney disease. The range of clinical practice of the group includes hospital consultations and management, office consultations and follow-up, dialysis care, and chronic kidney disease (CKD) management in cooperation with PCPs and other specialists as indicated. We also work closely with multiple transplantation programs.
Our areas of expertise include the treatment of chronic kidney disease and acute renal failure, comprehensive care for immunological kidney diseases, hypertension, end-stage renal care to include dialysis or comfort measures, post–kidney transplant care, proteinuria, and hematuria.
We also offer education, planning, and management of renal replacement therapies, including peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis (including working shift and nocturnal hemodialysis), and home hemodialysis.
We are a standalone nephrology-specific research facility working closely with pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies to develop new methods for the early detection, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease and its complications. We are currently enrolling patients in cutting-edge Phase I-Phase IV clinical trials and device trials.
