Put down the cookie and take a walk. Only about 20% of us are getting the exercise we need, according to a
new report by the CDC.
We’re supposed to be getting at least 2 1/2 hours of “moderate” aerobic activity a week, such as walking, or one hour and fifteen minutes of “vigorous” aerobic activity, such as running. Or you can do a mix of both. Confused? The CDC spells it all out for you.
But that’s not all. The guidelines say we should be doing muscle-strengthening activities, too. When will we have time to watch TV?
