Adam Nowlan MD, MPH, completed public health school, medical school, and his radiation oncology residency training program at Emory University from 1996–2006, serving as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Nowlan joined the medical staff of Piedmont Hospital in 2006 and serves as local principal investigator for the NRG international cooperative group clinical trial network. He is also a participating physician in the MD Anderson Certified Member Cancer Network and serves as radiation oncology medical director. His expertise is in clinical trials, brain tumors, stereotactic radiosurgery, and breast cancer.
Chad Levitt, MD, completed his doctorate and residency at Emory University’s School of Medicine in Atlanta. Most recently, Dr. Levitt led a collaboration of MDACC, Piedmont Hospital, and Siemens to implement one of the most significant advances in radiation-based treatment of prostate cancer: MRI-assisted radiosurgery (MARS). This treatment has resulted in continually improving high-cure rates with even less risk of significant side effects than ever before. Dr. Levitt’s expertise is in skin cancer, prostate cancer, head and neck cancer, and brachytherapy.
