Sasha Wahab, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who has been practicing in Atlanta since 2008. He completed his medical degree and residency training at Washington University and his undergraduate degree in philosophy at the University of Virginia. Dr. Wahab leads a team of nine radiation oncologists serving seven Piedmont Centers in the metro area. He has been published in multiple peer-reviewed oncology journals and has been an active participant and presenter in hundreds of multidisciplinary and specialty tumor conferences. Dr. Wahab has accumulated vast experience in an array of advanced radiation oncology technologies including IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic ablative radiotheraphy, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery.
Geetha Rao, MD, joined Therapeutic Radiation Oncology in 2004 and has worked exclusively at the Piedmont Fayette Cancer Center since 2010, where she serves as medical director. She has served on numerous committees and is a current member of the Piedmont Fayette Hospital board of directors. Dr. Rao earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Duke University in 1995. She completed her radiation oncology residency at the University of Michigan Hospital.
John Giesler, MD, a board-certified radiation oncologist is a senior partner of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology and a certified member of Piedmont’s MD Anderson Cancer Network. Dr. Giesler is known for his wealth of expertise in the ever-changing complexities of cancer care. Dr. Giesler, an honor graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed his radiation oncology training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
