Frequent Atlanta Magazine’s HOME contributor Emily J. Followill recently released her first book, The Southern Rustic Cabin (Gibbs Smith), which explores 13 log homes across five states. Says Followill, “As much as we are addicted to technology, Southerners still feel a call to simplicity and their roots.”
Followill, who photographs the region’s finest residences for leading magazines, has an eye for intriguing interiors. The featured homes range from rustic to contemporary, from luxurious new construction to a historic one-room cabin.
