Paige Minear and her husband, Nathan, both grew up in Florida, so their East Cobb house channels a bit—no, make that a lot—of Palm Beach. “Color is something that makes us both feel [at] ‘home,’” says Paige, whose blog, The Pink Clutch, celebrates a preppy decorating style. “Every room in our house is full of color.”
Curtain call
Paige considered going simple, then decided, Nah . . . let’s add another print. The blue geometric design from Clairebella Studio complements the other patterns.
Regal seating
End chairs from Taylor Burke Home are lacquered a cheerful orange and upholstered with “Nanjing” fabric by Schumacher. A wood table made by Paige’s father adds a touch of simplicity.
White light
Vintage is nice, says Paige, but she snapped up this white pagoda light fixture from shadesoflight.com. It’s just the right scale and shape for the table.
Wall or nothing
The inspiration for this breakfast room redo started with the yellow Clarence House wallpaper by David Hicks, which Paige spotted on NBC’s Lipstick Jungle. “It greets me every morning with a sunny glow,” she says.
Dragon con(stant)
Paige enlisted her friend, artist Jennifer Beshears, to create wall art with a striking dragon motif. Find more at thepinkpagoda.us.
All lacquered up
A vintage dresser shines with high-gloss “Drawing Room Blue” from Farrow & Ball. For lacquering, she recommends the pros at rosingpaint.com.
