MISSION
CHRIS 180’s mission is to heal children, strengthen families, and build community. CHRIS 180 helps children, adults, and families who have experienced trauma to change the direction of their lives and become more productive, self-sufficient members of the community.

Since 1981, CHRIS 180 has been dedicated to helping people overcome trauma and find healing, giving them the power to make choices that will lead them to productivity.

We help children, youth, adults, and families through an array of trauma-informed holistic services. We offer compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling at CHRIS Counseling Centers located in DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties. For abused and neglected children in foster care, we provide safe homes. For young adults who are homeless, our Drop-In Center provides housing and employment resources, and for young adults who are homeless or have aged out of foster care, we offer a supportive housing program. To build up families, we provide adoption services and in-home programs that empower families to become stronger and stay together. We also provide training for the broader community through the CHRIS Training Institute, with a focus on trauma-informed care.
