Humane Society of Northeast Georgia
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s (HSNEGA) mission is to create a community recognized for responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals through offering basic pet wellness and spay/neuter services, public education, and placement of companion animals.
HSNEGA offers a wide range of support for both pets and people. Services are available to all pet owners with no residency or income restrictions. Through our Healthy Pet Clinic, we provide affordable pet care including low-cost vaccines and low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery. Other services include the rescue and adoption of companion animals and numerous education programs and volunteer opportunities for children, teens, and adults.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
ADOPT: All adoptable animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, microchipped, health-checked, and, most importantly, spayed or neutered.
VOLUNTEER: HSNEGA relies heavily on our team of dedicated volunteers who play a vital role in caring for an average of 1,500+ rescues annually as well as assisting with a wide variety of fundraising and outreach events.
FOSTER: Providing a temporary safe, loving home for rescues with special medical needs is one of the greatest gifts you can give and helps save lives.
DONATE: Your Give Atlanta gifts to HSNEGA will help build a new bark park, an outside play area to provide exercise and enrichment for rescued canines waiting for adoption.
