Skyland Trail

MISSION
Skyland Trail’s mission is to inspire people with mental illness to thrive through a holistic program of evidence-based psychiatric treatment, integrated medical care, research, and education.

Skyland Trail is a nationally recognized nonprofit mental health treatment organization serving people with bipolar illness, major depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia. Our continuum of care includes residential treatment, day treatment, and outpatient programs. Our holistic approach includes primary medical care, nutrition and wellness, vocational services, interfaith spiritual support, and hands-on expressive therapies like art, music, and horticulture. We are transforming society’s perception of mental illness through community education, and we stand as a national model for what works in helping clients achieve long-term recovery.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
You can make a gift at any time to support our financial aid program that covers a portion of treatment costs for clients with demonstrated financial need.

Or, attend one of our fundraising events. Join us on October 18 at The St. Regis Atlanta for the 2018 Benefits of Laughter, a seriously funny night featuring comedian Roy Woods Jr. The 2019 Associates Spring Luncheon, scheduled for March 22, 2019, at the Piedmont Driving Club, is an opportunity to network with many of Atlanta’s women leaders and learn about mental health from a keynote speaker. Southern Shindig is a casual social event held each fall for Atlanta young professionals.
