YMCA of Metro Atlanta

MISSION
The YMCA of Metro Atlanta, reflecting its Judeo-Christian heritage, is an association of volunteers, members, and staff—open to and serving all—providing programs and services that develop spirit, mind, and body.

Since 1858, the Y has worked to serve our community with programs designed to meet our city’s changing needs. The Y is committed to ensuring school readiness, improving academic achievement, inspiring civic leadership, and empowering healthy living. Collectively, we are making a difference in the lives of more than 250,000 individuals each year.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
The Y believes all people—especially children—deserve an equal chance to reach their full potential. But, one in four kids, teens, and families needs financial assistance to participate in our impactful programs. Help us provide more opportunities for individuals in need by making a gift at ymcaatlanta.org/give.

Each year, more than 8,000 volunteers serve our community through the Y. The Y provides opportunities for teens and adults to volunteer through service projects or by serving their local Y branch as a coach, tutor, mentor, greeter, and more. To volunteer, visit ymcaatlanta.org/volunteers.

The YMCA is here for Atlanta, here for all, and here for good.
