Gateway Center

MISSION
Founded in 2005, Gateway Center’s mission is to connect people experiencing homelessness with the support necessary to become self-sufficient and find a permanent home.

Gateway Center (GWC) is a homeless resource center for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Atlanta. GWC serves more than 9,000 people annually that are experiencing homelessness. GWC provides residential housing for 486 men between our two facilities. Through a collective impact model, GWC partners with other local nonprofits to provide clients with access to services that will assist them in becoming stably housed and employed. GWC provides coordinated entry services, job readiness training, and access to a fully integrated health clinic in partnership with Mercy Care.

GWC strategically aligns our partnerships and services to the agency’s five keys to success: housing placement, health and wellness, family and community engagement, job skills training and placement, and financial and adult literacy.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Gateway Center invites you and your network to join us in our efforts to save lives and to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring by donating your time, talent, and treasures to our cause. Information on how to donate and volunteer at GWC can be found on our website: gatewayctr.org/donate.
