Denim guru Farshad Arshid, co-owner of Ponce Denim Company, on the jeans he’ll be wearing this fall for every occasion.

  1. Everyday
The Brute Knut Blue Reed jeans by Nudie ($265) are slouchy and loose-fitting with an exaggerated taper. They’re comfy with a bit of distressed edge, so Arshid says he grabs these to catch a show at the Variety Playhouse.
  2. Sunday
Arshid calls the ultra-light Raleigh Denim Graham rinsed 1x1s ($235) his “Sunday” jeans because they’re “great for brunch and a little shopping and some fun on the rooftop at Ponce City Market.”
  3. Date night
The Momotaro 13-ounce jeans ($295) are dyed on the outside and inside, so they look great dressed up with a double cuff. “Perfect for a sushi date night with my wife, Sandy, at Umi.” —Katelyn Umholtz
