VEINatlanta, one of the largest and most respected vein clinics in the United States, continues to grow in an effort to help even more people suffering with venous insufficiency. Atlanta’s vein doctor, Louis Prevosti, MD, started VEINatlanta six years ago with an office in Sandy Springs. In 2016, a second office was added in Lawrenceville to assist those in Gwinnett County. The third location will serve South Atlanta and is slated to open early 2018.
Dr. Prevosti leads the team of physicians and staff. Twenty-five years of experience performing cardiovascular surgery, 100 percent full-time commitment to vein treatment, and a staff solely focused on venous disease has allowed VEINatlanta to make a true difference in leg vein health.
Dr. James Fonger, a Johns Hopkins–trained cardiovascular surgeon, joined VEINatlanta in April 2015. He brings his expertise and training to the Gwinnett County location at 601 A Professional Drive, Suite 170, Lawrenceville, near Gwinnett Medical Center. Dr. Fonger also has extensive expertise in medical device development.
Dr. Keith Moore joined VEINatlanta in May 2016. He has practiced general surgery for 20 years. Over the years, he developed a keen interest in phlebology (vein medicine and surgery) and has been performing vein procedures since 2012. He will dedicate his skills full time to the diagnosis and treatment of venous and lymphatic disorders in the South Atlanta office.
VEINatlanta is the only vein clinic in Atlanta to receive Vein Center certification from the Intersocietal Accreditation Counsel. Its full-time, board-certified surgeons treat all venous problems including venous insufficiency; leg pain; tired, heavy, achy legs; night cramps; restless leg; leg swelling; blood clots; varicose veins; and spider veins. They also treat facial and hand veins.
