Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

The mission of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue (Angels Rescue) is to “rescue one until there are none.” We focus on saving as many dogs and cats as we can from animal control, high-risk situations, abuse, and neglect. We see each animal through every step of the process—from the actual rescue to a temporary foster home, all necessary veterinary care, and finally to their “forever” home. In just 10 years, Angels Rescue has saved the lives of more than 17,000 pets.

Angels Rescue stands out as one of the largest foster-based rescues in the U.S., and we are based right here in metro Atlanta. Dogs and cats are rescued from dire situations and placed into foster homes where they can decompress, socialize, and gain the confidence and skills that will make them an amazing part of a family.

In addition to fostering, there are volunteer positions in administration, creative services, social media, and event planning. Your time and talent can directly impact the lives of the pets we are trying to save.
