Britney Spears crashes, burns on “GMA,” announces tour stop at Philips Arena

Hey, Britney Spears, you just poorly lip synced your way through an Auto-tuned audio nightmare on “Good Morning America” while wearing size 16 fishnets and being schooled by your back-up dancers. What’s next?

Why, a July 17th stop at Philips Arena on a summer tour with Enrique Iglesias, that’s what. Yes, in an epic moment of bad timing Tuesday morning, Live Nation issued a press release sent out to media precisely as Brit-Brit was enmeshed in an epic fail on a live television broadcast from San Francisco. Well, OK, her vocals weren’t live, to be sure. The mini concert appearance was timed to today’s release of the former pop princess’ latest studio project, “Femme Fatale.”

Perhaps wisely, Philips Arena has not yet announced an on-sale date or ticket prices for the tour.
