Actors Jon Hamm and Bill Paxton took time off from shooting their feature film Million Dollar Arm Saturday night to visit Atlanta’s favorite dive bar.
According to Clermont Lounge reps, the pair came in and immediately blended with the usual eclectic crowd, staying for about two hours.
“They acted like everyone else,” reps told Atlanta magazine Sunday as the Clermont Lounge’s Facebook fan page blew up with news of the celebrity sighting. “When [Hamm] left he told our bartender that he now ‘gets it and now understands why everyone says the Clermont is a must-see when in Atlanta.'” Prior to the Clermont, Hamm was spotted having dinner at STK in Midtown.

Hamm and Paxton, along with Oscar winner Alan Arkin and Lake Bell are in the area shooting Arm, a Disney drama about a sports agents who “stages an unconventional recruitment strategy to get talented cricket players to play Major League Baseball,” according the to film’s entry on IMDB.com.

Alas, Mad Men ad man Don Draper did not get to meet legendary Clermont dancer/poet/beer can recycling expert Blondie. The icon takes Saturday nights off from gyrating atop the bar.
