John Lewis may be a living legend of the civil rights movement and a longtime congressman from Georgia, but that doesn’t mean he takes himself too seriously.
The lawmaker known for braving the Edmund Pettus Bridge and addressing the March on Washington isn’t above busting the occasional move. His staff taped him dancing in his office to Pharrell’s “Happy” in celebration of today being desginated “International Day of Happiness.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Lewis has jumped on a dance trend; back in 2012, he recorded a “Gangnam Style” get-out-the-vote video. And, as you might recall, the congressman also wrote a comic book.
