New renovation projects have been transforming The Walker School’s campus in Marietta. This fall, a new science and technology building opened its doors, offering the latest facilities for chemistry, physics, and robotics classes, as well as an advanced media tech suite. The 37,000-square-foot project is topped off with a rooftop garden and an outdoor classroom for environmental science and biology classes. Improvements to the school’s main building added 2-D and 3-D art studios, refurbished band and orchestra rooms, a new dance studio, and a yoga studio where students can take a break from school stress and recenter in classes offered as part of the physical education program. thewalkerchool.org
