Since opening in 2014, Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School has planned, raised funds, and dreamed of having a building to call home. The dream became a reality this year when the school moved into its permanent Downtown location. Along with classrooms, the 70,000-square-foot facility boasts a media center, science labs, and a cafeteria; a gymnasium is expected to open in December 2017.
Meanwhile, the first group of students to enroll will become the first graduating class in the spring. They’re joined by an incoming class of 160 students, making the total enrollment around 535.
A hallmark of the school continues to be its Corporate Work Study program, which matches students with opportunities to hone their skills in the business world. The fall “draft day” paired the entire student body with 140 job partners around the metro area. cristoreyatlanta.org
