Alpharetta’s mixed-use development Avalon continues to boost the shopping options for OTP-ers. We got the scoop on three new boutiques it plans to add to its retail lineup come spring: Boogaloos, Scout & Molly’s, and Hammer Made. Slated to open in April 2017, these three shops will be part of an already announced expansion that will include Brooks Brothers, Urban Outfitters, and Lucky Brand.

Boogaloos may be a familiar name to many shoppers—the local women’s clothing boutique, known for contemporary designer brands like French Connection and Citizens for Humanity, already has a shop in Brookhaven, and it recently moved its Decatur offerings to a new boutique at Ponce City Market. “I’m excited to bring a Boogaloos boutique to another groundbreaking, mixed-use development,” said founder and owner Penny Scheetz. “Now, our loyal customers in the Alpharetta area won’t have to journey intown.”

“Our shoppers are actively seeking clothing, shoes, and accessories they can’t find anywhere else in North Fulton,” said Carla Toro, director of marketing at North American Properties, which owns Avalon.

The other two additions are making their Georgia debuts. Lisa Kornstein opened her first Scout & Molly’s location in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2002. The women’s clothing store, which carries tunics, dresses, and trousers from labels such as Karen Zambos and Ripley Rader, now has roughly 30 locations nationwide. Meanwhile, Hammer Made will give a boost to Avalon’s style offerings for men. The men’s retailer offers complimentary styling sessions and is best known for its limited-run tailored shirts, which come in pastels, plaid, and other preppy prints and run from $100-$150.
