Greg and Robby Miller of Buckhead men’s shop Miller Brothers, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, have embarked on a new sartorial venture: partnering with menswear brand Peter Millar to open a new shop at Avalon. We asked Greg to weigh in.
What inspired this collaboration?
Our store has carried Peter Millar since the brand’s inception. We sell more of it than any other line we carry. Peter Millar has five company-owned stores, but as the brand has grown, they’ve started to partner with other retailers.
Alpharetta is growing so much, and we really liked the idea of being part of a development with high-end apartments and restaurants. Plus it’s a huge golf community, and Peter Millar already has a big following among golfers, so it made a lot of sense.
What can shoppers expect?
Atlanta will finally get to see the full Peter Millar line, not just golf shirts and sport coats. The brand’s head designer previously worked at Ermenegildo Zegna, so you’ll find a lot of tailored clothing that’s European-inspired and made in Italy.
