Khristian A. Howell isn’t shy about pushing the envelope with her trendsetting cards, gift wrap, and other paper products. A designer and interior stylist boasting perfect color vision (yep, there’s a test for that!), she earned an advertising degree from UGA before joining Nordstrom’s design team in Seattle, creating cute patterns for children’s apparel. In 2014 she moved with her husband, CNN anchor George Howell, back to Atlanta, where she licenses her colorful, graphic motifs for everything from note cards to pillows. (Look for her name on patterned goods at Target, Nordstrom, and Kohl’s.) Her signature line of stationery, artwork, and other paper products can be found locally at Citizen Supply. “I love the way paper connects us, especially in such a digital time,” Howell says. “To receive a tangible love note, a gift wrapped with thoughtfulness . . . it really makes a difference in how we interact.”

Find Howell’s designs at Citizen Supply, Target, and Nordstrom, or at khristianahowell.com.
