Fitness meets fashion at Mason’s new Buckhead workout studio and shop, SculptHouse, where she’s introducing Atlantans to a new workout method that uses self-powered treadmills and monster Pilates-style machines called Megaformers. She’s also bringing chic, hard-to-find activewear brands like Koral and Brazil Wear. A Charlotte native and UGA grad, 26-year-old Mason worked as a trainer and fitness model in New York, appearing in ad campaigns for big brands like Under Armour and Nike and discovering smaller, style-savvy labels. SculptHouse, she says, is “a combination of my love of athletics and everything I learned about fashion.”
Neighborhood Buckhead. I love that it’s becoming more walkable.
Activewear trends for spring Prints! I love the marble-patterned leggings from Varley. Tops with mesh cutouts are big right now, too.
Wish list Some Jimmy Choo high-top sneakers. They would elevate my athleisure shoe game.
Where you shop One of my favorites is Swank at Shops Around Lenox. And next door, Ona is the best for candles and presents.
36-hour getaway The Ritz at Reynolds Plantation. I love being on the water, and they have s’mores every night.
Underrated exercise tip Taking an Epsom salt bath after a hard workout. It helps soothe all of your tired, achy muscles. I use a soak called Mio Liquid Yoga.
Healthy snack The Power Piña Colada from Juicy Jenny, with pineapple, banana, mango, coconut water, and protein powder.
Guilty pleasure Queso and a margarita from Bone Garden. That’s like every Friday night.
Go-to sport To play, field hockey. To watch, NFL football. I’m a longtime Panthers fan, but I still support the Falcons. And I love the Falcons players. Matt Ryan should come try our workout.
Skincare secret I go to Kathleen Denney at Sola Salon for facials. She works with a lot of movie stars when they’re in town, like Jennifer Lawrence—even Jon Hamm.
Small splurge The Escape to Fiji pedicure at Sugarcoat, with a soak and serious scrub. Since I’m on my feet all the time, they need a lot of work.
Role model Lindsey Vonn. It is amazing how she has persevered through all of her injuries, and she just believed in herself and kept going.
The new legging
