Che Butter Jonez is moving to Brookhaven
Che Butter Jonez—the Queens-inspired restaurant based on the food truck of the same name—is moving its flagship location from Southwest Atlanta to Brookhaven. With a much bigger space—capacity is 81 instead of 15—the restaurant will be open six days a week, in contrast to its current three. It will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as Sunday brunch.
Che Butter Jonez duo to bring their Queens-inspired cuisine downtown with Butter + Scotch
The husband-and-wife team behind Che Butter Jonez, Malik Rhasaan and Detric Fox-Quinlan, are preparing to open a 144-seat restaurant called Butter + Scotch in downtown Atlanta. It will offer the same style of food as Che Butter Jonez, but on a grander scale, Fox-Quinlan says.

There are few restaurants in Atlanta like Che Butter Jonez, where Malik Rhasaan interprets some of the dishes he grew up eating in Queens—a flagship lamb burger, chicken pitas and bodega-style breakfast sandwiches, a pastrami-topped patty melt called the Patti LaBelle—while Detric Fox-Quinlan works the counter.
