Northern China Eatery to open flagship along the BeltLine in February
Serving authentic Chinese food representing the regions of Beijing and Tianjin, Northern China Eatery has been feeding Buford Highway visitors since 2008. Using family recipes passed down through generations, dishes are made from scratch using fresh local produce. Owner Fan Zhang launched spinoff restaurant the Dumpling Factory on the Westside in July. Come February, he’ll open a larger Northern China Eatery along the BeltLine. Located in the Shoppes at Citizen, 665 Auburn Avenue, near the new Emerald City Bagels, the new location is nearly double the size of the original and set to become the flagship, Zhang says.
Northern China Eatery spinoff the Dumpling Factory to open in Westside Paper
Fan Zhang, owner of the popular Buford Highway restaurant Northern China Eatery, often sees one-to-two-hour waits for his restaurant’s authentic Chinese fare. With the opening of spin-off the Dumpling Factory in June, he hopes to make the food more accessible to metro Atlantans. Set to replace Boxcar Betty’s in Westside Paper, the Dumpling Factory will serve highlights from Northern China Eatery’s menu.
