Former JCT Kitchen chef Cooper Miller joins Hampton & Hudson
As announced recently at a Frye Company secret supper, Cooper Miller, formerly of JCT Kitchen and the Strecks’ 2012 Atlantic Station pop-up Hudson North, will be leading the kitchen of this 3,500-square-feet restaurant.
Seven Lamps’ Drew van Leuvan and Grain’s Billy Streck team up for Tavernpointe
The former LPC and La Pietra Cucina space straddling Buckhead and Midtown has turned over yet again. Drew van Leuvan, executive chef and owner of Seven Lamps, and Billy Streck—co-owner of Grain, Cypress Street Pint & Plate, and the upcoming Hampton & Hudson—have taken the reigns to create a neighborhood tavern called Tavernpointe. Restaurateurs Jeff Newsham, Rob Caswick, and Dave Pazienza are also partners in the endeavor.
Billy Streck of Cypress Street and Grain to open Hampton & Hudson this fall
Cypress Street Pint & Plate and Grain restaurateur Billy Streck is branching out with his wife Jenn and opening a “community bar and restaurant” called Hampton & Hudson this fall. Located in Inman Park’s 280 Elizabeth Street development—alongside MF Sushi and Ford Fry’s Optimist spinoff—Hampton & Hudson will serve healthier pub food alongside a “well-rounded” bar menu.
