Where to dine on St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is known for green beer, drink specials, and overindulgence, but to truly embrace a culture, you also need to taste it. Though bars like Ri Ra, Fado, and Meehan’s will be serving their takes on Irish dishes next Monday on March 17, we thought we’d look to places perhaps a little more focused on the fare. Here are five Irish dishes and where to try them this St. Patty’s Day.

Buckhead Life Restaurant’s Group Bluepointe, where he was opening executive chef in 1999, is probably the restaurant to which his name has been most closely associated over the years. He’s also worked for Tom Catherall at TomTom, Prime Steakhouse, and Shout; the local Jean-Georges Vongerichten concepts Spice Market and Market Buckhead; and more recently at Buckhead Bottle Shop and shuttered 5th Street Cafe.
