Common Quarter begins serving
The East Cobb restaurant from the Local Three and Muss & Turner's crew kicks off service tonight, offering the likes of crawfish rolls, cauliflower risotto, Low Country bouillabaisse, rabbit stroganoff, fried apple pie, and more. According to UrbanDaddy, Common Quarter embraces its theme to the core, with Savannah-style gas lamps and an oversize map of St. Simons.

The team behind Muss & Turner’s, Local Three and Eleanor’s—Todd Mussman and Ryan Turner, along with Chris Hall (Local Three) and Chris Talley (Muss & Turner's)—have a new restaurant in the works. Common Quarter will be a neighborhood restaurant with coastal influences located in East Cobb. Replacing Chepe’s Mexican Grill (which replaced Fellini’s Pizza), Common Quarter is scheduled to open on July 1. Below, Talley and Hall share details on their vision for the restaurant.

What are your favorite sandwich spots?

I’m on the hunt for outstanding sandwich spots of all types around the metro area—any favorites worth shouting out? I make frequent treks to Muss & Turner’s in Smyrna, and I’ve been enjoying Noon Midtown (which I saw on Twitter is opening for dinner service soon, good news for local residents), but I’d love more suggestions.
