My Style: Emily Sistrunk, photo stylist and creative director of Pixhouse Studios
Emily Sistrunk’s style hasn’t changed in 20 years. It has always been bold, eclectic, and a mix of high and low fashion. The stylist-turned-studio owner got her start working for music producer Dallas Austin. Now she's known as a go-to stylist for commercial advertising who opened her own studio, Pixhouse, six years ago.

Thomas Raab studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology before landing his first job at DKNY as a menswear designer. After seven years with the brand, he was lured to Atlanta by Sid Mashburn and appointed head of men’s design. Next up? His own label, TAR, which combines the sport of American workwear with the precision of Japanese tailoring.

Becoming a mother fueled Jaycina Almond’s career. The 23-year-old became a full-time model only after her daughter, Syx, was born in 2017. Somehow, she found the time to publish a book of poetry, In No Particular Order, and launch a subscription box for expectant mothers called Tender.

Whether Allie Bashuk is working to empower women and nonbinary individuals through her nonprofit, Dream Warriors Foundation; producing large-scale event installations as codirector of Brutal Studio; or bringing the city’s artists together as a director at the Goat Farm Arts Center, this creative powerhouse is helping foster culture and community in Atlanta.

As half of the creative photography studio Tropico Photo (with fiancé Forrest Aguar), Michelle Norris spends her days dreaming up bold and bright imagery for fashion layouts and advertising campaigns. Tropico’s portfolio includes work for Red Bull, Samsung, the New York Times, SanDisk, and King of Pops, but Norris says her favorite shoot was for the summer 2017 edition of Georgia-based Secret Catalog.
